Amy & Matt wanted to create a wedding that was simple, elegant & beautiful, and this is exactly what they achieved.
Sharing a love of nature and photography, Matt decided to propose to Amy whilst on holidays along the Great Ocean Road. The couple decided to hike to a near by waterfall to take photographs and admire the beautiful surrounds, when Matt popped the question.
It is this love of natural beauty that created the theme that ran throughout their wedding day. Amy wanted to keep decorations to a minimum, to allow the historical beauty of Ayers House to shine through. Holding their ceremony in the sun-filled Ballroom, followed by an evening reception in the fairy-lit Conservatory.
Amy & Matt chose fresh floral touches and soft pinks to created a classic and timeless feel, with birch tree candle holders and hand made place cards to compliment the conservatory garden setting. A fun touch to their beautiful wedding cake was a gold wire topper reading ‘I Found You’. The beautiful images were captured by Glenn Alderson Photography. The couple honeymooned in New Caledonia.
